A Collaborative Workplace for a Growing Design Firm
DLR Group’s new Riverside office embodies the firm’s integrated approach to design. It brings architecture, interiors, and engineering together in one flexible, people-centered space. Located in Downtown Riverside, the 6,000-square-foot studio supports a growing team with environments that adapt to shifting modes of work and collaboration.
Unisource Solutions partnered with DLR Group to deliver a furniture program that unites design intent, functionality, and craft.
Project Priorities
DLR Group envisioned a space that reflected its culture of innovation while maintaining alignment with firm-wide design standards. The team needed a solution to integrate custom elements while maintaining consistency with existing products, all while creating a balance between open collaboration zones and focused work areas.
Our Approach

Custom Collaboration Tables: Partnered with Platform by Unisource Solutions to design and manufacture custom tables that met DLR’s unique size and function requirements.

Flexible Workstations: Installed (39) Haworth Planes height-adjustable benching stations to encourage ergonomic, sit-stand work styles.

Adaptable Meeting Spaces: Equipped the large conference room with Haworth Jive movable tables and Davis Gingko chairs for easy reconfiguration.

Community & Lounge Areas: Designed open lounge and collaboration areas featuring HBF Mod sectional seating, Halcon tables, MAD counter stools, and Haworth pneumatic height-adjustable tables to encourage connection and creative exchange.
