Why Green Design?

The growing trend in architecture, engineering, industrial and interior design is to minimize environmental impact, reduce waste, and relate people to the natural environment. Green design is a means of reducing negative impacts while improving quality of life. Unisource Solutions partners with ANEW, Asset Network for Education Worldwide, an organization that facilitates reuse alternatives for surplus materials, diverting them to groups in need. Their services spare our environment while avoiding wasteful and costly dumping practices. In addition, ANEW partners with Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that provides labor opportunities for disadvantaged and formerly homeless workers. See the ANEW website.
